Tendon pain is an often unrecognised injury diagnosis for patients, and therefore we specialise in the accurate recognition and treatment protocols for this domain. Tendons are thick, tough connective tissues that connect muscle to bone. Injured tendons can produce severe pain on movement. These injuries are often misdiagnosed and poorly treated. Common tendon pain can come from tendon tears, tenosynovitis (inflammation of the protective sheath surrounding the tendon), or tendinopathy. Tendon pain can be debilitating and commonly affects areas such as the shoulders, elbows, wrists, knees, buttocks, and back of the heels.
